Our history

 

    Old Earth Adornment is an offering to a community, and an industry I have loved for many years.  It is the result of 10 years of experience in making organic body jewelry and an opportunity to continue adorning the people in our community with beautiful, handmade jewelry.

    Starting as a body piercer in 2007 I had the pleasure of piercing and adorning countless people in our community. I loved the people, the work and the atmosphere, but it became clear to me that my true passion was in the jewelry itself. It was the craft, the finish and the precision and particularly the process that I fell in love with.

    Later in my career I was given the opportunity to work with, and learn from some of the best carvers and craftspeople in our industry. I was trained by artisans who’s sole aim was innovation and the pursuit of perfection. As I grew as a maker it was clear to me that the work I created was more than just the wood it was carved from.

    Now I have the opportunity to expand my practice, and continue the tradition of making the highest quality organic body jewelry, one piece at a time. To me this work is a practice, a meditation and an offering. No one piece is the same,and each piece is as unique as the person who wears it. I look forward to making your work.
